When me and Dave changed the box in his Starion he had the front on ramps and the rear of the car up on stands. This seemed to work well as it gave us quite a bit of room.
-JA Starion with JD bits , Forged engine, Heaps of mods (parked up)
-BFII XR6 Turbo Ute , Here comes 400hp for 2k :p
-77 Mazda 323 drag car. 13bt rotary project.

Yes i have too many toys.

if you know someone with a broken sigma/scorpion/starion alloy case box you can use the input shaft as a clutch aligning tool :)
Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.

when your trying to line the input shaft of the gbox into the clutch i find it helps to put the drive shaft in the back of the box (a spare yoke would be even easier if you hav one) and spin it so the input shaft turns to line up and slot in easier

o and remeber to take the gearstick out before removing the box :wtf:
