chain drive steering?

is this shit legal? I suppose so coz they do it as a LHD to RHD conversion thingy, don’t they? anyway, what if it was only 200mm long, in a case, under the carpet inside the cab? where they cant see it :D
this will also let me diddle the ratios to whatever I want

Ever ridden a bicycle? Notice how when you pedal backwards to hit the brakes, you have to go back about 1/8 of a turn. It's called slack. Roadworthy places don't like it.

A mate of mine has a Corvette with chain steering (due to left/right conversion), so it must be registerable. No idea how it steers though since the bastard won't let me have a drive :)

BAH! slack-shmack..... ever heard of a chain tensioner thingy? anyway, my plan has been foiled by the clutch pedal.... maybe I can get an auto to fix the prob? :roll:
