For a JA you'll need the whole diff, as yours will be small type housing. The vast majority in the US are large 83-87/8. 88-89 are 6 bolt and no use to you as they splines for half shafts etc don't fit.

The good news is an 83-87 will bolt straight in, but you need the diff pumpkin and torque tube. This = lots of weight to ship = $$$

Do a search, plenty of info here.

best bet is to go for an 87 widey lsd and torque tube, u can use your stock axles.

90 bucks to ship a entire diff? musta been back in the days of seamail.

I can pick you up a flatbody large 4 bolt lsd out of a flatty at the local yard with 130k miles on it for around 260 plus whatever shipping is.

Cheapest shipping I found, was through a third party, IPS shipping services.

I think it was $364 or something like that to ship the diff and TT, after thier discounts through FedEx air.

They're heavy, at 75lbs... will fit in an 18x18x18 box... If I remember right.
