Very long shot.
Re-engineering front end for axles would be nothing short of a nightmare.
Unless Cordia struts and stuff drop straight in.....

Pajeros are wide block.
Off topic a bit but that motor is cheap, should be intercooled though and is worth two Pajeros here, around $3000.

That TA22 Celica is using Nissan GTR front sump/diff and 4WD components....nice work.

they ran the pajero tcase in 4x4 mode. they ran a different cross member, moved the motor back a few inches and tilted it to make room for the diff. they also ran custom lower aarms and spindles for the stub axles. I believe they also ran a dry sump setup so the pan clearance wasnt as much of an issue.
hks also built one off a flatty but they pushed the motor so far back to make room for the diff that the #2 plug was in the firewall.

6a13tt or 6g72 with 4wd running gear would be a smarter way to go

here is the awd hks rally cars engine bay with the 4g block
i dont have an engine bay pic of the mitsu built car. i know it used the 4g63 sirus dash motor.
im guessing the small shift in the starion awd car had something to do with the different tail shaft and location of the tcase on the awd car. I know the tail shaft of the 2.6 tranny on a 4wd truck is 2" difference in shifter location than the tranny on the 2.6l car.

Can you get a ralliart wing for a Starion? Re: Photo??

i do not believe the rear end steered on the awd car but i believe that extra rod was for toe changes under bump because the a-arms were all custom. Unlike the starion rear end which has the offset pivots so you have some toe out under bump for stability this car had a much more compact rear end.
Spoiler, not sure but the awd car actually had an oil cooler in the rear spoiler.
the early cars in testing actually had the center piece of a 3 piece widebody wing modified.
