ok i just bought a jap sigma box. looks to be exactly the same as my current box except for the hydrualic clutch and the selector.
can the selector just be swapped over so it is in the same place? i am going to try this anyway but i thought i would just ask before i attempted it

yes u can but u need to swap the selector shafts aswell, and be mindful of the tailshaft diameter you'll soon see what i mean) migt be best to get a gearbox shop to do it, the pins are ridiculously hard to remove from the shafts.
Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.

[quote="2000_turbo"]That are not screws. They are just a piece of metal. You need a hammer and a solid pin to remove them. (sorry I don't know the english words for the tools) Why do you want to remove it?
Good luck!

Hi all,
I,ve done this befor to 2 gearboxs, i'll show you some pic to make it easer.
The picture of the side of gearbox is a mirror image of my starion
box but it should be very simla to the sigma box. I through the sigma
casing away so i don't have any pic of that cut out case.
I cut the rib off running through the area that is circled, measured
where the hole was on the starion box and placed measurments on
sigma box and drilled small holes around the area where marked.
and cleaned up with the die grinder.
And in the other pics i had to open up the the O.D area that's circled
because the sigma bearing is slightly bigger.
I have made up bracket for the mounting of the slave cylinder, as you can see in the pic.
You see the yollow circle, the bolt with the spacer
on the bracket gose through that hole, i taped a thread in the bracket for
that bolt.
The red circle is the hole above, just taped a thread
into the box.
The blue circle, i taped into the housing and used a
7/16unc bolt, you can use any bolt you want there.
