Never argue with an idiot, it brings you down to their level and they beat you with experience.

Best advice youll get, is to go 9:1 static cr. It will drop down to a mild 8:1 with a reground camshaft so save yourself the learning experience.

Greg if we are thinking about the same bloke we both know he is a class act and though he :pimp s his ride i'm sure he will come up with some appropriate signage (if he doesnt then i'm putting ball bearings in with the rice to throw at the groom at the upcoming nuptuals in 08 LOL )

I have taken the following parts to be cyrogenicly strengthened
gears . rocker arms ,rear axles & cv joints .
They will be retempered when they have thawed out and will be picking them up nxt week
that only leaves the Wiseco forged pistons to arrive then all of Franks parts will have arrived & then I can think about assembly
Am probarbly going to get the 64 head flowed to find out the horsepower potential :D
PS may get Hyundai in manifold flowed as well to see if it is n e better than my existing custom one

Not very smart insurance unfortunately :( Its the blocks internal webbing that needs treatment to avoid the mains warping out of shape. Also would pay to check that the caps bore id and alignment is still within spec as with any treatment generally causes size changes.

Treatment is claimed not to effect dimensions in any way but just in case you didn't read all of my posts the motor is being built to race specs !!!!!
If you don't think that this treatment is of any value can you explain why a number of v8 supercar teams are regular customers ??????????
Block is in the fridge atm :)

Ive had the treatment done but on the whole block includin the Mains caps  Claimed not to have any size effects depending on percentage of austenite which coincidentaly cast steel has in single figure % digits.
