Also you've got to do some additional plumbing to get the coollant back to the radiator. because the thermostat is on the other side.

rxtoy wrote:sorry for bringing up a dead post, are you guys talking about hyundai sonata manifolds???? or is there some sort of mitsi sonata that we dont' get over here. just didn't think they'd have the same mounting pattern but if they do it'll save me heaps cause L300 4 point manifolds are worth heaps over here cause they're so rare but there's heaps of sonata's round.

cheers

You want a manifold off an NZ new 89-92 galant. you can pick them because they just have "Multi Point Injection" on the door, *not* DOHC.

the only problem I have with my 4g64 manifold is that it sometimes hit the steeringhouse slightly, if you have powersteering. Without powersteering this is not a problem.

my stock accelerator cable works fine? Using Sonata and Magna TB. Will have some pics up soon, in the process of swapping blocks.

Hollandgalant, it sounds like you have mounted your steering wheel on the wrong side :D

im not sure if theres a problem with length or not, its more the fact that it has to be bent forward as im sure cooks or someone will show soon, you have to use a small tube with a 90deg bend in it to get it facing forward

Length is fine, a bracket was made to bolt to the manifold to turn it forward. Its the black thingy in the red circle.

I used a longer accelerator cable with a bracket like this:
