Even though your not venting the pcv outlet into the atmosphere, your still changing emissions by removing it and pluming it through the catch can. As the pcv is plumbed to the manifold, it opens when your manifold is in vacuum and would suck some of your crankcase gasses out. Where if you remove the pcv and plumb the outlet into the seperator it will only vent when the crankcase pressure builds up.woops wrote:What removing the pcv valve is even illegal if you plum it into the catch can and the outlet of the catch can into the intake.
It'd all be going into the combustion chamber and not changing the emmisions. If anything it'd make the emissions better by not burning oil.
I thought defectivable offences are things which are dangerous mod's or increase any harmful emissions.
