if you on standard managment then it 4 sure air flow meter if you can get to gold coast i got them here to try or i will be at willowbank next weekend.............cheers

As for the alternator, is it internally regulated or externally? If you cant see a reg on the side of it then there must be one somwhere in the engine bay of the donor car (supra).
can you fit the stock starion alternator? If it bolts up ok, just swap the pulleys over. otherwise, just get a sparkey out to test the system. Your better off paying a sparkey to atleast show you what needs doing, rather than buggering around, and getting all worked up over something that he should spot easilly.

This is my stocker Starion, not the 2JZ one :) Power steering fluid has been leaking, so the alternator is probably full of it. This weekend I will hopefully sort it out.

Starion.gsrvr, you got air flow meter? I can get to Gold Coast if it seems that that's the problem (or one of the problems :))
