Yay I got the year wrong by 2 years, damn my memory for being so unreliable..

Doesn't change the fact that a starion with a vent to atmosphere bov will no longer meet its adr requirements! Once air enters the engine via the air filter, or into the fuel tank when the fuel cap is removed to add fuel, it is considered part of the evaporative emissions/positive crankcase ventilation system, and if u let any of that air out without going through the engine it's illegal.. Boosted air coming from a turbo is dirty air, it contain oil vapour.

The only time it's not is when you reopen the fuel cap to refuel, can't do much about that though.

This rule is also why having those little aftermarket filters on the tappet cover are illegal on cars after 72..

Yeah australian design rules SUCK when it comes to modding things..

Really late model cars have a few new adr's that pretty much make any performance mods illegal or practically impossible to get legal..
