in the same article he talks about bending alot of the sensors on a engine. MAF, Exhaust etc...etc..
Maybe i should scan it and post it up? anyone interested. It's a older issue of ZOOM. Covers alot of interesting ground. Mentions Eproms as well.
good read. :D

I LIKE it,
I would like to know, just what decides, that the factory JA ECU pulls the pin on the injectors.

it has to be the pressure sensor, it's the only sensor that detects manifold positive pressure, according to the elect diag, this sensor provides drive to the boost gauge, and sends a separate signal to the ECU to modify injector pulse according the pressure it sees, the yellow wire sends a voltage to the ECU corresponding manifold pressure changes.

You could you install a boost control valve (like a wasgate boost controller) on the vac/press line to the pressure sensor (MAP) to limit the pressure it sees to whatever the cut-out value is in PSI (9, 10 psi), the sensor will not know when you're overboosting thus the ECU will supply injector pulse accordingly, in doing this you're leaning your mixture and risk detonation under boost & bang!!, so if you choose to do this you must supply extra fuel, maybe using an aftermarket raising fuel pressure regulator to pump extra fuel into the injectors under boost, provided the stock injectors can flow that high..

Doing this can only be done safely using an exhaust gas analyzer to monitor fuel ratios on a dyno...

Yer an in saying all that "TD05" it could work out cheaper to just pay for an aftermarket computer an be done with. Especially if you smash a piston or worse engorge a huge score in your boars, like mine :( , from detention. but I cant talk ive tryed to disable that fuel cut by disconecting one of the yellow wires sort of worked but with my fragiale motor I could just tell it wasn't going to last more than a week running more than 13psi.

Dose anyone ever get that feeling with there car, when it sound or feel like it in serious pain or Iam I just a freak. Or mabey its me car thats the freak.
