flywheel won't yield any power increase on a dyno or lower ET over a 1/4 mile run ...especially for a low revving tall geared 2 valve motor
waste of money
Your gearing/load dictates how quick your motor revs
Put in a 4.88 if you want to see your tach come alive. ETs will suk (and so will your mileage).

Food for thought;
Replace the 5 speed with a heavy auto tranny (& heavy torque converter) on the same car. It will dyno a lower hp number and ET substantially improved with no changes to the motor. Been proven countless times

10sec street 1.8 2 valve street corollas stick with stock flywheels
(TOYOTA1515 had a 475hp 2.6 starion, stock heavy flywheel).
Same applies to the 2.3 sohc Fords. 10sec heavy(~3000 pounds) street cars.

it maybe thats the go on a short straight lines but no good for racing

just think Phillip Island race track coming on to the straight 150-160 kph ( 95 - 100 mph ) putting the foot down running through to 195 ( 120 mph ) slotting top then trying to pick up speed , as most of the straight is still left the next 400/500 revs from 6500 in top with a 3.89 is hard enough to get
an auto would be lots of fun. Not !

Smart man would love to have a auto, 3000 convertor ,trans brake, B&m shifter.Love the way auto turbo cars take off. Cost is the only thing holding me back last quote on tuff auto to suit was about $4000.
