^^^ I've heard that too, but I'm not 100% sure. The crossover pipe definitely is different tho.

The heads are interchangeable but don't know if the valve, port or combustion sizes are different or not.
Apparently the ECUs are the same.

There will be someone on here that's owned both and knows them well, or in fact still has both (just might not admit to it!)
Reduce fuel costs by 15-20% & cut emissions by 1/3rd...
Increase engine performance & prolong engine life...
How?

Cordias have the JB/D style injection mixer, and there were differences in injectors between Cordia models. If you have a JB, you can use Cordia injectors - but I believe they have to be from an AB Cordia. I know at least one of the Cordia variants had 850cc injectors (and will suit a Starion), but they won't go into a JA injection mixer unless you do bad things to them.

Caveat: My knowledge of Cordias is extremely limited, so you might like to have a poke around here to find out more.

Ive owned both, Had a cordia for a year or so.

Intake is like mention above JB but few tiny differences with the fuel lines going to intake. Heads the same.

Nothing else is really usable. Manifold is a low mount, Turbo has few differences but its a tc06 in the AA and AB models. AC got the Tc05 and cat converter.

AFM may be useable. E101 could be used for JB/JDs
Interior is totally different, seats dont interchange.
-JA Starion with JD bits , Forged engine, Heaps of mods (parked up)
-BFII XR6 Turbo Ute , Here comes 400hp for 2k :p
-77 Mazda 323 drag car. 13bt rotary project.

Yes i have too many toys.

It will fit but the thermostat housing would face the firewall.
