How To Remove Wheels Without Locknut Bit

Hi guys.. My mate bought some suspension and brakes, and I bought rims.. And they are all attached together. But the thing is we dont have the lock nut bit to get them off as the seller lost it...
What would be the best way to get the wheels off without damaging wheels or suspension etc,

Weld bar onto locknut.

Depends on what type of lock nut and how much space you have to work with.

either make something that is approximately the right size an hammer it on
or weld a bolt on top (use something to cover the rims while you weld)

sometimes you can also get them off using a hammer and a chisel but be very careful because its easy to damage the wheels when you slip.

Another way to do it is find a socket that is a tight fit over the locknut, take note of its size and go down to either bunnings or supercheap and buy the same size socket for each locknut from their $1 bin. Use a hammer to force the socket over the locknut and undo the locknut.

failing that alot of wheel shops will do it for you, some may charge you a small fee but atleast there off

I snapped the locking key for my wheels, so i just took my car to a tyre place, they just used a pneumatic air gun with attachments to force the nuts undone, similar to using a hammer and drift.
