You could take it to Merlins place!
He will um a little and ah a little, pull out his verniers and then he will disappear into the shed and find that piece of metal that is just so (which he harvested off a 1956 VW Beetle at Pic n Payless) and after 4-5 hours he will fashion and polish a beautiful bracket (I stress polish) which will fit precisely!!! :)
