does it fit any ideas if the intake hits the m/c etc?

Why would anyone?
they are normally mounted east-west so there's all the mounts to fab up. Then you have to find a gearbag to mate up to it. And it's only 2 litre and Toyota. Plenty of cheaper options out there.

it would cost a lot more than a 2.4l, fully forged, vr4-headed, t04e huffing 4g64 motor.

just to get it to fit in the car.

then it is a weaker motor once all thats done.

but if you want to, i am sure some shady shop will do it for you

you can grab a 6 speed tiptronic from a 3sge in an IS200 but thats about it, otherwise yeah, nightmare

ok then just that i have one in my drive way and im not that fond of the gt4 that surrounds it and there is a w58 adapted 4 a 3sgte and i know thats the easy bit and factory pistons r forged 4g64 would b nicer though just thrwing ideas around really cheers

Yeah i would say put it in the far too much effort for the results basket. Much better going harder on a 4g63 or 4g64 will always be easier with better results.
