Throttle body Seal Kit

Post by douglovin »

I noticed there were alot of non-reusable rings in the throttlebody. I have been looking for a re-seal kit.

I found this one.

Would you assume this comes with all the seals right. It doesn't list what comes with it.

Or does anybody else have a better place to buy it?

I don't think a lot of us buy stuff from Texas. That said, you would assume they have all the seals and (hopefully) gaskets in the kit.

Check ebay and see if you can find some common part numbers for the kit. They often come up there. Match their description with your found part number and maybe determine what's in it. Or ring the dealer and see if they have a better descrition or idea of what's in it (but that's a long shot)

If you are really good and have a bearing/industrial supply place nearby, strip it all down and take the o-rings in for them to match. It will be cheaper but if you do it on Saturday morning when they're busy, they'll hate you for it.
