14x7's, 4x114.3 and plus 8 offset
Any ideas, I have no clue how to calculate this and I have tried!

I did this photoshop effort of my car:
The wheels are only +8 offset, how much of a difference does 10mm make? Would they be touching anything on the inside of the wheel?

I'm only going off memory though... which has proven to be unreliable!
Go the mk2 supra rims! I was considering those before the FR17s came along.

+8 will be putting the outer lip of the rim closer to the guard lip. Depending on how low your car is will determine whether the outside of the tyre will rub out the lip of the guard. Inside clearance won't be your problem.
Just in case you didn't know, the lower the offset, the more the rim will move to the outer. So a minus (-) offset will give you huge dish, whereas a laarge positive offset (+45) will move the rim to the inside (mainly for FWD cars).

Ahh, thanks for that. Maybe if I get my hands on a set and trial them. If I'm not happy I'll just sell them again. My car is slightly lower than standard as you can probably tell from my Signature, but the factory wheels seem to be a fair way in under the guard so hopefully they wouldn't scrub.

Jrod, thanks mate, the rear spoiler is hardly believable but the rest of it is alright. That clearance calculator is pretty darned helpful too!
4mm further out from the strut
16mm further from the current wheel edge
Sounds like there is a realistic chance!

Those rims look tough....Wouldn't mind a set for myself. They look better than the stocko JA rims that I have atm.

Hey nice! Keen eye you have there! I was beginning to wonder if you were going to contribute anything serious to my threads... :D
Looks like they would be a straight swap then.

-10 offset, +12.7 for the extra width of the rim itself. Should fill the guards nicely.
