Radiator Overflow Bottle

Post by decoy »

Where's some places you guys have relocated it to? Most probably due to cooler pipe mods. Does height have much to do with it?

passenger side in front of the radiator. Make a bracket to hang it under the front cowl.

As long as it is lower than the top of the radiator.

That's funny... that's about the only thing that hasn't been moved or modified under my bonnet... Factory location... It was more luck than planning..

I just unbolted mine from the factory location and rebolted it to the widey factory location (passenger side, just on the inside of the nose cone)

Mine is up the front like everyone else has said.
Make it the same height as factory when you move it.

You can see the bottle in it's new location in this pic. It's been there for 3 years since, works fine.

the height doesn't matter. mine is lower than factory.
i had to use a larger volume container because it couldn't handle the expansion volume of the larger aluminum radiator.

I would of thought that if it was below the top of the radiator it would siphon down to the tank when it cooled down, but it's good to see that it works.
