dizzy options

Post by 85_cordia_gsr »

hey guys, i was looking into using a multi-coil setup, but may be more to it than i thought...
Im running a microtech lt-8 ecu, and currently using the DASH optical dizzy, is there another dizzy that will plug straight in to replace the DASH dizzy?im having alot of problems with rotor button and caps, and it has now made the car undriveable until i ort it out :(
some people have mentioned early sonata, L300, HJ galant etc, but does anyone know which of these (if any) would be suitable?
any help would be great
cheers!

For seperate coils you need both a cylinder reference and a cyl 1 tdc reference, something the dash dizzy sadly does not have. Try the Sonata one, that is what I am using for my LTX8 and it has both references.
..More than meets the eye..
