82 GSR Turbo

Post by 82GSR »

Just wondering a good bolt on upgrade turbo for an 82 GSR G62B SOHC engine? I currently have a TC05 on it.

Is this the 1800cc cordia GSR engine?
If it is, I would go for a TD-05 16G, I'm not sure if it is 'bolt on' but not much else is.

RWD engine in an EX lancer, they never got them in Aussie. pretty much same as the starion, just 1800 instead of 2 litre.

Try the Turbonetics td 05 16 G stage 2 starion upgrade. This will fit directly onto your engine. The only thing different is the outlet. This turbo is meant for the intercooled engine, but if you do this upgrade a front mount intercooler is appreciated too. If you really want a bolt on try the turbonetics td 05 16G stage 2 for the starion 1983 / 1985 this is the non intrercooled version. It will take them appr. 4 weeks to produce.

I have one on to my 4g63 sohc and spool up time is very good max boost at 1800 rpm and good for 375 max hp.

I paid 850 USD for it.

This is indeed a 4G64 manifold with the throttle body replaced. I also have a 4g64 head on it.

I want that engine!
Watch your speed - It's virtually impossible to pick it out of the carpet if it gets blown off the table.
