Firstly make sure you do a search and read all the previous topics on the subject.
You also need to define some specifics like;
-Are you going to run an aftermarket ecu or a Vr4 one?
-Are you planning on using the Starion block?
-Using the VR4 turbo or larger?

Austarion really needs a FAQ in the techical section to point people to every time this topic pops up. Can anyone who has done the conversion write an article on it?

Im bored, so here is a basic list:

- custom exhaust manifold
- custom throttle cable
- move throttle body on DOHC intake to opposite side
- custom intake piping
- lots of beer
- aftermarket ECU is recommended, if you used VR4 sensors etc you could get away with the VR4 ECU.
- thermostat that points the right way
- DOHC pistons (4 valve reliefs)
- glue
- therapist

You dont need a VR4 head or engine to make power. The 8v can do well.

Do you want more than 200rwkw?

either he meant:

"can you get 200kW on the SOHC head??"

or

"duh, of course I want more than 200kw"

I was unable to decide the most likely, but my first impression was the first option.
