HELP: ODOMETER NOT WORKING!!!!
Own a JB Starion, and the odometer isnt accurate its done 113,000k's but has since moved up verry verry slowly, this includes the trip meter aswell.
i drive this thing alot, is this a costly problem??
approx how much to fix??
any advice would be appreciated

odometer not working
the speedo's fine, can a auto elec repair it??
im selling it soon, so i wanna get the meter fixd, cant be botherd installing a new dash for it or a used one.

because of the age legally it doesnt have to work does it??
i wouldnt really worry about it unless u wanna try and tell the buyers its done say 200,000 k's instead of the true 330,000 k's * and even if its not working people probably wont watch the odometer while they are test driving it....

I think its more of a case of the new owner noticing it, and getting angry about the false k's on the clock.
Id ring an auto-elecy and see if they are able to help. I havent wound back an odo before, or repaired one, so Im not sure how to actually dismantle it to find the problem.
Oh and swapping the dash cluster with a replacement is not hard. Its just a couple of screws and some plugs on the back + speedo cable. Its just a case of finding a dash cluster 2nd hand that looks ok and has similar k's on it.
