I got K-mac's.
They're great, and I've had no probs with them.

Just my 2 cents...

Dobinson springs $270 for all 4 thru me.
They are approx 40mm lowered and are progressive rate.

If you want King springs find someone to get them trade price for you as they are so stupidly cheap that it is an insult at retail price.

K-Mac are a much better spring than the Kings.

If you want seriously low and nasty u could get Allsprings Jumboz.

Make sure the spring u buy will be captive in the strut as it is not legal if they are not.

Nothing wrong with Kings. I have had them on many cars and are race proven. :D

we sell kings at about $135-$140 a set and lowered, starndard and raised heights are all the same price. so for the set ur looking at about $270-$280.
while its all out most people changed the shocky's aswell which will help your handling also. you can go lowering springs but i wouldn't bother. for the price they give almost a zero advantage over a normal shock. just go monroe gt gas theyre probably best value for money.
i don't know a lot about k-mac suspension as we don't regularly deal with them but their reputation is a good one, then again not many people look past kingy's.
i have fitted and driven king springs on a cordia, an ed falcon, a kingswood and a vl and all drove so much better for it. handling is about twice as good and body roll, even in the kingswood, was barely even there.
and the super low kingy's are 60mm lower than standard height, so about 2 to 2 1/2 inch. i say go the kingy's, best value for money handling mod u can do in my book

There are a few reasons why a K-Mac is better in my opinion, one of them is written above but that doesnt mean someone should go buy them cause i said so. Im just offering different opinions so strion can make a decision for him self rather than everyone tell him to get King springs simply because everyone else has them.
Most King springs that are in a race car application are far from the same as what joe blow buys off the shelf for his mass produced vehicle.

Its only a different opinion boys dont get ya knickers all tied up :o

i second that the reason i went the whiteline springs was because of the reputation they have in track and street aplications but at the end of the day its your decision and im shure you will notice an improvement whichever spring you choose if not at least it will look better
