t04b turbos

looking at putting a t04b turbo on my starion ,just seeing if guys have done it and how it performs (lag etc) advice please

Its a pretty big turbo compared to standard... might not come on boost til well above 4500rpm. I would go a T03 but not much bigger unless i modified the head and ports to flow more.

I would put on a 2L a T03/04 hybrid to get the best of both worlds. But if you go the t04 you will get lag like Paradoxx said.

I am putting a T04 on the 2JZ Starion. It's pretty damn big.. way bigger than the stock turbo. I would avoid it unless you like lag :)

Thats a BIG TURBO. TC06's and TC05's are a joke in comparioson.
On my 2.6L I have a Garret TO4-E it doesn't kick in till 3 grand. I would believe that it would be more in the region of 4000 to 4500 for you 2 Litre tho.

Can any body tell me the differences between the last letter and the origin of these turbo's?
