4G61 parts for a DOHC Conversion

Post by Neil »

I'm looking for all the accessories and brackets and bits you need for a DOHC conversion.

I've got a DOHC N/A bigport head but it didn't come with any rockers. I'll need all the twin cam bits like timing components, oil pump, aircon compressor, p/s pump, alternator, brackets, crank gear etc.

I might be able to get hold of a 4G61 - does anyone know if the rockers can be used on a 4G63? What about all the other bits mentioned.
As the 4G61 doesn't have balance shafts I suppose I could remove mine and use the 4G61 parts like a factory type elimination kit....thoughts?

Same rockers/lifters/cams/valves, they are interchangeable.
The "balanceshaft elimination kit" IS the 4g61-kit, as I understand it.

The only differens between 61, 63 and 67 heads are intake portsize, camduration and cc in cumbustionchamber.
Correct me if I'm wrong!
