Is the 4G64 6 bolt crank the same between the 8 and 16 valve engines?

I can't offer a definite answer, but there is the whole long-nose vs short-nose thing with the 8v and 16v 4g63 cranks... Might be something similar going on with the 4g64's?

to fit the crank in a 4g63 the block req machine work for clearence

4G64 crank is going into 4G64 block. So shouldn't need machining.
