Yeah, I wondered about that, they seemed more front drive to me due to the lack of depth to the front of the hub. It can be a little deceiving...

I'll have to work out what they fit...here's a pic anyway:

Reduce fuel costs by 15-20% & cut emissions by 1/3rd...
Increase engine performance & prolong engine life...

I've done more research. They are AU Falcon wheels, suits Series I and Utes Series I & II.
They fit a bunch of other things too:
E.g. Eunos 500/800, Ford Escape, Laser SR2 2001 on, Probe 1995 on, Telstar 1992 on & Jeep Cherokee 93-2001.
Not relevant to the Starion.

Mick, in this thread you say +6 front and rear:

Can you confirm one spec or the other?

There is a nice set of Volk GT-C's in 18 x 9 +11 and 18 x 11 +12 to suit a widey for $2800 on SAU.

Ok, so i'm trying to workout wheels to order for the rear of mine.

I'm staying IRS to begin with (more info on this to come) with D2's fitted.

So I can either tell my boss to send me:

15 x 7 with a -12 offset (means I run a 26" x 8.5" tyre)
or
15 x 8.5 with a -32 (means I run a 28" x 9" tyre)
or
15 x 8.5 with a +6
or
15 x 10 with a -25

Some help

15 x 7 with a -12 (26" x 8.5" tyre)... you will need to lip and pump rear guards by approx. 30mm
15 x 8.5 with a -32 (28" x 9" tyre)... you will need to lip and pump rear guards by approx. 60mm. Might need to tub it. Tire getting tall for standard wheel well.
15 x 8.5 with a +6 (28" x 9" tyre)... you will need to lip and pump rear guards by approx. 20mm
15 x 10 with a -25 (28" x 9" tyre)... you will need to lip and pump rear guards by approx. 50mm

Note: Approx figures. :D

Could run a
15 x 8.5 with a +6 (26" x 8.5" tyre)... you will need to lip and pump rear guards by approx. 6mm

The 10" with -25 would have awesome dish!! You could get a set of wide body rear quarters set over and stitch them in (get the pumped sections???). Get a set of wide body front guards sent over at the same time

It will have to be then pete.

OzMod rules state I can square the guards off and lip them etc, but I would have to convert it to a widey to be able to "pump" the guards and still be legal

looking for a nice set of wheels preferrably 5 spoked or just a race inspired wheel with lip if possible.. found these set of wheels as a idea with what im interested in..

http://www.ebay.com/itm/17-17x7-17x9-XX ... es&vxp=mtr

Now i personally want to run 17 x 8's on the front and 17 x 9's on the rear.. which means i'll probably have to run a offset of at least +28 or higher i think.. wheels above have a fairly high offset.. whats peoples thoughts? anything else similar or in same category with a lower offset and still wideish wheel with lip?

noticed from earlier posts people running 17x9 w/ 235/45/17 tyres and not needing guard work.. damn if thats so then hopefully my intentions for phat wheels will be spot on!

thoughts on wheels like these on my staz? hopefully black centre with polished lip? can do the 8.5" with +10 offset on front and 9.5" and -5 for the rear.. (link below) which is the highest i can get.. anything else is -5 or more negative.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Rota-RKR-F-R ... 1e6885b21d

or these ones for a more race inspired look?

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/300520182844 ... 1423.l2649

undecided.. but im so tempted right now.
