JB map sensor

Car was running badly, checked the map sensor to find the hose had come away with half the nozzle stuck inside it.
Some questions:
Being that the nozzle part is so stupidly fragile, what's the best way to repair that section?
Can a JA sensor be used with a change to the plug?
How can one test a sensor works properly other than trial & error?
Has anyone ever pulled apart a JB one and repaired it?

I had problems with my MAP sensor in the past on my car, but I wanted to swap the other way around and I don't think it can be done easily because the wiring isn't the same.

I had the exact same thing happen. I just glued the barb back on with that glue you put moddel cars together with. It held for about a year until I decided to go multipoint. Good luck :beer
