any other fuel pumps that act as a direct replacement for the starion?

as in more powerful or the same? the VL turbo fuel pump is a popular swap i've heard...

VL turbo pumps works well. Mine has been in there for about 10 years.

just a straight swap is it? wiring etc all lines up?
just to replace one, need cheapest possible solution (not for my own starion).

Gee 10 years is a long time :? From memory is was pretty straight forward. You may have to crimp on a couple of connectors. It does fit in the factory location however. Hopefully someone will reply who has done it recently.
