Due to the age of the car i decided not to get them recoed (im not paying for the cylinders anyway) so the guy is buying me new parts...hence the $600 for parts

Could have bought a good master cylinder and brake booster off me for $100.

You can also get a brake booster re-kitted for around $160. :mrgreen:

I had my master cylinder bored, sleeved, sealed and installed for the princely sum of $220. Darby's Brake and Clutch on Plenty Road Reservoir if you are in Melbourne. The bald headed guy there knows his stuff.
