TC06 is the stock turbo that came on JA and JB Starions. JB have watercooled centre whereas the JA does not.

Beware that Cordia also came with TC06 turbo and they are slightly different.

Mine is a JA, is there anyway you can run one without the other, as in I.e only oil or does it have to be oil & water?

with some mucking around with T peices and hose you can put a water cooled turbo from JB onto the JA. My motor has this setup at the moment. JA with watercooled TC06. Watercooling increases the life of the turbo.

Absolutly MUST have oil feed and return regardless of the type of turbo.

Yea, Ts into the water hoses between the manifold and the heater core pipes that come through the firewall.

The JB and JD have a different metal pipe (the one that wraps around the exhaust side to the back) then the JA. It has a pipe coming off it for water return.
