Pads available for Starions
Hello, well yes there is a huge range of pads out there for Starions, although its the best secret around, . Toyota Hilux has a pad nearly identical and fits perfectly. I fitted some QFM pads ( db1141 track day) in my Tarmac Rally Staz, does low 24's at Mallala all day with no brake issues. They are about $100 a set , thats 200 to 300 less than the exotics around. The only small issue, they miss about 3 mm on inner part of the rotor as they have a slightly different shape there , but for the money i can live with that. You can also buy them in Ultimate and other brands. Cheers Bill

The 1141's in Ultimate appear to be no longer available, as the sales of the Heavy Duty 4x4 pad were more popular. The CWT was simalar. Honsestly use the QFM track day pads, they are ideal for harder street work or circuit sprints, tarmac rally. From them upwards QFM make 3 o 4 full on race compounds that wil satisfy any application

After a 6 week wait for qfm to make you can get these pads in a1rm which are rated 0 - 700 degrees with a co eff of 0.40 when cold and 0.48 when hot. Greg at gslrally have a few sets in stock so can send them straight away rather than wait for qfm to custom make them. Pads are $119 plus postage for a set.
Hi, just back onto the topic of pads I was looking on the net and found this, http://www.sorijen.com.au/product_info. ... s_id=11708
are these the QFM pads that you talk about, the compound names on here don’t seem to match other sites I have found on QFM, like they don't seem to list the a1rm or HP-X pad.
I was looking at possibly the K750 but the a1rm you speak of ricethief sounds good
They also list the db1111 http://www.sorijen.com.au/product_info. ... s_id=11620 are these pads more closely matched to the standard starion ones?
