VR4 injetorians

Post by scum »

has anyone seen a yellow VR4 injector? or has anyone got any on a twin cam? did they even get to aus? or was this just another 'optional blanking plate' kinda thing that only came out in aus? also, if you lose your injectors they become injectorians, little guys with arms and legs that look like.... well.... little injectors with arms and legs.. damn buggers run off and hide all the time. i sugest cutting there limbs off with some scissors.

i have yellow ones, apparently identical to rx7 injectors
they seem to be the best... nowhere near 80% when i hit 22 pounds. i'm surprised if they get past 50% duty cycle...

I run the yellow injectors in the rally car and the info I have on them from the last time they were cleaned is "Yellow - 360cc @ 275kpa. Blue - 300cc @ 275 kpa. I run 1.3 bar of boost and average 65 -70% duty cycle.
We calculate for 1.9 litres per kilometer on competition stages and 7.5 on transports.

Yellow is rated 510cc, but as previous post demonstrates, probably dont do that much flow at all.

What rx7 injectors? Theres as many diferent types as starion injectors...

Its about time an industry standard was set for testing and rating injectors, most of these figures are just shite
