not a staz, but the approach should work.
He adapts the bigger Z32/RB25 gearbox to a high strung CA18det

THAT... is exactly my first idea on adapting the gearbox.

its cool, but I dont really see the point. The amount of time needed, you might a well just go to work and work some ot and buy a nice bell housing adapter from bill or whoever else makes them. Still if you are a budget player then thats a pretty cool deal.

Ive got a starion gearbox thats had the same thing done to it. But the guy I got it off had a V6 bellhousing welded on. He had it in a L200 ute with a V3000 motor. Would have been interesting...
