Headlights won't go down!!

Post by BLOFLY »

The headlight switch finally died after feeling pretty dodgy for a few months, but now I replaced it with a good spare switch set I have, I cannot get my lights to go down. They still turn on and off but are set in the up position. Have tried turning the manual headlight winder down but they just pop back up. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM??

You haven't pushed down the "headlight stay up even when they're turned off, but when you unpush it they will go down when the lights turn off" button? middle left I think :D

I've had same problem with my JB, and I've found after turning the light off, if you press the lights on button not quite all the way, it lowers the pop-ups. I can actually make them go half way down...although sometimes a little crooked! Some people dig this look, not me.
