Hey guys. I was just wondering if the speedo in the 1985 Starion is electric or cable. If it is electric does it switch gnd or positive?

Also on another note, You can buy a transducer that screws between the box and cable to provide an electric speed pulse without hindering the cable operation, I used one for my apexi RSM.

They worth around $85 new from a gauge place and
require a 12v power source to be wired from the battery.

Wouldn't it be possible to use the sensor that is normally used for the ABS?
Since that is screwed in between the cable & gearbox already.
