Harmonic balancer type

Post by Mick »

hey guys,

discovered last night that the standard balancer had torn the inner rubber section from the outer and was wearing into the timing case, strange faint whirring like a dodgy bearing. al suggested we whip the timing case off thank god while we were at it and there it was, like a 200mm holesaw half way through the case.
good timing.

question is whats the part to get as a replacement?
hyundai one or mitsi one?
and will it need to be balance at zero or are they weighted to suit already?
cheers
