I am using an NGK BCPR6E-11

These are a bit shorter then the standard VR4 spark plug (BP6ES-11)

and the BCPR6E-11 uses the 5/8 tube socket to do it up.

I use these spark plugs because they fit the toyota coil on plug setup that I am running.

bp6es is the stock for a vr4 engine

i just run bp7es in mine as reccomended by alot of the vr4/evo guys just with he stock .8 gap not the -11 (theres two gaps sizes)
thats for around 300atwhp and 16psi
for a more wild setup they just seem to go to the 8s and gap them down a bit depending on boost

no issues and cheap as chips

i run twin cam engines in two of my cars. unless you live somewhere cold, i ever have had issues with running bp7 plugs.
i had a guy one day tell me to try the v spark ones that NGK do, he recons they are better and ran them in his taxis for years.
so i got a set of bp7e plugs (not always easy) and yeah, they just seem very nice and smooth all the time. weird.
anyway, ngk website has brilliant info on plugs and the tech in them if you even wana learn about them.

Is it wise to receive counsel from random taxi drivers?

probably not no, but in this case, the difference in my plugs were only that v groove in the end of it so out of curiousity i though f it, why not. i was really a little suprised i did feel the difference.

What differens?
The differens between an old plug and a new with a v grove or the differens between a just as new plug with no v grove and one with a v?

yeah tried both, new. just felt a little smoother at idle, little crisper. was just my feeling anyway. but also been told they last longer, but i change mine pretty offen anyway. only couple of bucks each anyway.
