Post by iXNAY »

hey guys,

I'm looking into wiring in my own ECU and just thought i would ask who else on here has done it - looking through the manual and wiring diagram it doesn't seem that hard :)

its easy mate just take your time and check everything before you put power on it.

The trick is to really take your time and be neat - double check everything and take the time to finish it all off well.

It's quite rewarding to do it yourself and then admire your work every time you lift the bonnet.

I was told by Adam at JEM tuning that Haltechs are good but correct grounding is essential and to ensure it gets no "noise" or interference.

Factory fuel pump relay is up behind passenger side kick panel.

Plugs and connectors were a mix of old and new. Properly soldered with heat shrink not electrical tape.
