No boxes are multi fit. You need the 4g52 astron 5 speed which is a narrow block but cable clutch.. So you need to convert it to hydro!
Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.

oh ok, sorry im just going by what someone told me. unfortunatley its easy to get wrong information from people. i.e starion gearbox will mount an evo engine.. hehe oh well... Iv located a narrowblow sigma gearbox, lets see how that pans out.

Would be a good idea if your going to run a Sigma, L200 box etc. Flush it and put some decent gearbox oil (redline) and don't put a big HD clutch or you might be replacing gearboxes regulary.

What he means is drive it with a modicum of mechanical simpathy and it MAY last for some time :wink: but plan for the worst and save for a stronger box because i'm thinking your'e gunna need one :)

PS Redzones info is straight from the horses mouth and your previous informants info came from the other end :) LOL
PPS imho no oil can stop breaking things if too much power/torque is being put thru the box but an oil with a high shear strength = Redline ,Amsoil etc will minimise wear and tear.

dont you guys fiond sigma boxes weak as piss.........i use to run toyota w57/58 boxes..........dellows still do the bellhousing for them hey in narrow and wide block...........mate actually fitted a commy v6 t5 getrag box to his old sigma guy up in queensland made him the adaptor for it

the old chrysler galant 4 speed box is a tuff litte bugger too can handle a fair bit of torque
