Convertion

Post by T-man »

Just a wee update on my convertion, I got the inlet manifold modified and got the engine removed from the starion. It was quite straight forward, unlike the evo 3. I've unbolted everything and and the engine has move about an inch to two inches before it stops! I've tried levering and wiggling and the compuselry swear words but still to no success! Anyone any ideas why the engine won't come away from from the gear box on the evo 3, any evo experts on here?

Thanks in advance,
Tman

did you take out the M8 bolt that goes into the gearbox from the engine side?

it's located just next to the left fwd driveshaft.

Very common bolt to be forgotten.
