Hi guys,

how do you run the coolant through the thermostat at the back near the firewall?

Run a pipe off the back to a remote thermostat housing mounted near the front of the engine, on the inlet manifold side. Theres a few topics on this mod, have a search thru for some pics

I had a look but only found one pic of hose coming off the thermostat and then around over the exhaust mani, is that possible still?

thanks, some useful info, i think i will just run a coolant pipe round from the thermostat housing ...

, nice.. how about removing the actual thermostat, and running a pipe over the exhaust. then mounting an in-line housing?

i guess it would get a bit hotter flowing over the manifold, but saves having to weld up something like that?

Thermo is removed and repositioned at the front under the TB. Running the pipe on the exhaust manifold is not a good idea for all the wrong reasons :roll:
