the problem is all these manifolds will be facing the wrong direction!

when you get a Hypertune, Plazmaman, Magnus & JMF you tell them its for a RWD application and they make it to suit!

The other thing is though, you can cut the mounting flange off and remount it the other way.

After all the messing around swapping the Tb to the other side , checking to see if wont hit anything and just the pain it will be to get it right ,
you mite aswell buy one that you know other people have used and fit with ease .

how much cheaper will it cost after you get the manifold then have to pay someone to reweld it up the right way?
unless you could do it your self!

Being a drag car i would of thought that parts like this there would be no compromise?

The manifold really is one of the last things I should worry about, so It will come down to the $$$'s I have at that time.

Unless one comes up at the right price.

I am going to go and see Rocco (tamburello) during the week and see how much it will cost to do a few intake mani's at once and see if a GB can be organised.

I went through what you're going through now lol. Ended up going JMF Race. Spoke to jim and he said himself for what we want it'd be best we go for the street or race manifold. He said the drag is overkill and could have negative effects if used on a car making under 600rwhp..

But i've also got a custom RWD twincam mani for sale if you're interested. Offer me a couple hundred and its yours.

What about runner length, and what youre using it for?
The JMF has 251mm, this will match the 3:rd pulse @ 9500rpm and the 4:th @7500....
The other ones shown looks shorter....

I'm not the best teacher and english is not my birthlanguage... :oops:
Make a search for "Harmonic Lengths" or something like it, and you will understand...
- Induction System Tuned Lengths - ( Cylinder Head Port + Manifold Runner )
1st Harmonic=> (usually this Length is never used)
2nd Harmonic=> (some Sprint Engines and Factory OEM's w/Injectors)
3rd Harmonic=> (ProStock or Comp SheetMetal Intake)
4th Harmonic=> (Single-plane Intakes , less Torque)
5th Harmonic=> (Torque is reduced, even though Tuned Length)
6th Harmonic=> (Torque is reduced, even though Tuned Length)
7th Harmonic=> (Torque is greatly reduced, even though Tuned Length)
8th Harmonic=> (Torque is greatly reduced, even though Tuned Length)
Note> 2nd and 3rd Harmonics typically create the most Peak Torque
4th Harmonic is used to package Induction System underneath Hood
A lot of the pro-guys here in Swedzki use PipeMax to tune the intake and headers...
