Was a good day out with the fellas. Lots of cars, got to laugh at roger and his big red car along with the rest of the wiggles. Great burnout comp.

Also some interesting things from the day, myself, JD and the commentators had a bit of an insult slinging war going on via sms (and from their end announcements) regarding the sluggishness and boxy shape of the starion :D We did manage to get the starion mentioned more than any other car (cept maybe some of the holdens which the guys seemed to love) and got free publicity for the site (:P managed to make the dude announce the URL to the site :D)

Highlight of the day, after all the insult slinging as me and JD are waiting in the queue of cars to get out, a bunch of guys look over at the car and all we hear is "Is that the starion?". We laughed our asses off :D thinking it was a one off thing, but then as we moved around a bit further more and more ppl were noticing the car. I think we did a lot of good publicity for the starion name this friday at the drags :D

Awesome to hear Jeff....

Maybe we will get a bit more respect now....Congrats on getting the announcer to give out the name of the site.

Might get a few newbies on who didn't know about the site :)

Im a member of the cp forum and i went up to him, I spoke to him and he said his clutch is Rooted, Mid you he told me his car is a 13.7 second car. He said he had wheelspin trouble.

He said first pass the car started to bounce and all only managing 14.3,
he also said his second pass he had complete wheelspin in 1st and second and he aborted the run.

Wasn't too bad a day. Unfortunately I had to leave early as I had a couple of friends who had to be elsewhere. Sorry guys.

Any interesting results from later that day?

Buster lost out in the rebel elimination 2nd round from memory charlie. That is about all that was notable. One car blatted a fairly sizeable fireball during the burnout comp

Thanks. Unfortunately it wasn't able to perform near its potential. First time out a few months ago it ran 10.55 on moderate boost.

Who actually won the burnout comp?

Are you talking about the toyota cressida, the 10 second cressida, if youse dont know already it has nos aswell. did you see it loose control mid track.

no, [BU5TER] is the white R33 Skyline with the best sounding turbo on earth (doesn't perform too badly either ;)) and [IJZ-747] is the 2.5 1JZ-GTE Toyota Cressida (PB ET of 10.7).
