Sydney (NSW) Track Day! 24th october

Post by SOWTZ »

Now I may not live anywhere near Sydney, but due to certain comments I have seen (inviting King Cordia to the next track day and him accepting), I would like to kick start this (to shut that silly boy up!).
Now there are a few reasons to turn up, meet the people, put your car on the track, watch other cars on the track and of corse the whole King Cordia thing(there may be others as well).

I have a car. I use it to drive to work, to drive to work I need petrol, petrol cost money, I must work to make this money… it’s a vicious cycle!

There's one on 24th October. It's being organised by http://www.autosports.com.au.

Its a private track booking so we need numbers now. Let me know who is interested. Generally spaces fill up pretty quick so get in fast.

Alternatively register over at http://www.autosports.com.au and get your name on the list.

Don't forget to tell the star of the show about it. And don't forget to film it.

Here's the details:

Autosports is pumped to bring you another Wakefield Park track day.

Again, we have hired the entire track for ourselves for the day. So if you have been before of havnt been before... this format is a lot of fun so come on down and not just see what you can do in your car, but learn a lot more about what your car can do in a safe way with no worries about the boys in blue whatsoever!

Total cost per driver is $85. If you do not have a CAMS licence you can simply purchase a Wakefield Park Licence for $40.

We have got poeple coming from other car clubs aswell... BelGarage, Team Opel, Ozwrx, Gtryaz and the EvolutionOz boys will all be there.

We will also be playing host to a race prep'd Lotus Exige.. A couple of guys from the Porsche Cup class with their GT3's, a BMW M3 with all the fruit and a few other Euro exotics and Japanese weapons out to measure up against.... and i can not wait to see Andy's little 1200 coupe scare the shit out of some the more modern cars out there

To confirm your position.. please click on the following link to download the registration form; http://users.tpg.com.au/jakhurst/Autosp ... orm-01.pdf complete and fax back to the provided number to confirm your position. Your position is not confirmed till your payment is recieved.

Can you please deposit $85 per person into the account details below and have your user name as reference;

Account Name: Autosports Australia
BSB: 012-325
ACC: 4971-36965
Bank: ANZ Liverpool

The Autpsorts Crew look forward to meeting you all at the track... We will have Autosports merchandise and stickers available on the day and the Wakefield Park Cafe is open for food and drinks all day.

We will be meeting at the Ampol Truck Stop at the start of the Hume Hwy (Crossroads / Casula) at 6.00am to get to the track before 8.15am. There will be a driver briefing at 8.45am WITHOUT DELAY ! The first group will be on track at 9.00am sharp.

Xmetal Photography will be on hand to get all the action on film... Ian is also happy to get some actions shots of you and your beast in action.

With a bit of luck... we may be able to get Ian Barrett and John Boston for a bit of driver instruction.

If you need a Wakefield licence then you pay the $40 on the day at the track.

People are grouped in classes. Beginners, intermediates, dedicated club cars, full race cars.

Weather can range from freezing to boiling.

Now Roger, here's your chance. Don't go chicken. I'm sure there's plenty of people who would help you out if worst came to worst (but I doubt a car as fantastic as yours would ever need to be towed). Besides you already said not even being sick in bed could keep you away. And you can't miss out on proving to all those doubters how damn fast that cordia of yours is.
