Yes, I'm planning to come over from South Oz and do it again with my burgandy JB like last year. Will we meet at Hitchy's again & convoy in as that was a great feeling being part of a Starion convoy. :D

This is the biggest classic car show in Victoria & is not to be missed.
Open to all Classics 25 years and older so that should now include most if not all wideys!

Please be aware that cars need not be 'concourse' as is as much about getting older cars and there owners together in one location to share their motoring passion. In previous years there's been in excess of 2000 cars in attendance, Aussie, American, European & Jap all present

Panda and any other interstate attendees planning to make the pilgrimage
I can offer free accommodation for 6 people max. (AUstrarion Forum members only)

This deal includes:
Camping space in my backyard (BYO tent and bedding)
Off street parking available for (Starions only)
Bathroom facilities with plenty of Hot water for showers
2 min walk to local pub / 5 min stagger return journey
5 min walk to supermarket/bottle shop for supplies
2 min drive to Petrol stations (all have PULP)
BBQ facilities, heated outdoor recreation area for more drinking and story telling.
Only 10min drive to the Hanging Rock next morning
Please PM me for reservations

To wet you appetite look at threads & posts from previous years

As mentioned in previous posts, I'm keen to come along this year.
Looks like I might take the widey as it's over 25 years old.
Any other people from NSW going? Let us know!

I suspect the constabulary will be around but in previous years have focused on the Calder Fwy route to the venue, which is the way most people go, we'll be coming in from the other side, not as much traffic and easier to get in, don't need to queue for as long

Great offer Andrew, you're a born salesman, knew you had it in ya

In the years so far, the only cops we've seen using the route we go are the ones managing traffic out of Hanging Rock.

So we've got Mal, Lee, Pete & myself so far. And maybe Morris. Can you buy a nice Starion in time Andy?

Unfortunately wont have new Starion in time for the event, It will be March at the earliest before I'm in the position, though there are a number of pretty good ones For Sale currently, hope there still around when I'm in the position to buy.

Just confirming that my partner & I will be travelling over from SA on the Saturday, & staying at Andy's place that night. Would be great if we could have a get together at or near there on the Saturday night.
Doing a few little jobs on the JB this weekend in readiness for the show. Looking forward to meeting you all again, plus any new visitors.
Cheers.

Hi All,

Anybody need accommodation near the event on Saturday night?

Had a bit interest from the Sigma-Galant guys, at present got 2 attending both really good examples of classic Mitsubishis:

Sigma
GTO Galant

We should get a really good turn out this year.

Potentially picking up a 1980 Scorpion this weekend as donor car for the Galant, bought it for the 2.6 astron II motor fitted and the suspension components.

Doesn't look to bad from the photos, If it scrubs up ok, I may bring it along.

Cheers,

Hitchy
