TCCAV is pleased to announce that Classic Japan will once again be held in 2013, this year on Sunday December 1st.

This year will be bigger and better with a return to Como Park in South Yarra.

As well as having no numbers restrictions for entries, this venue will allow us to host the event with the Classic Japanese Motorcycle Club in making Classic Japan 2013 a show for cars and bikes made in Japan pre 1988.

The event is a huge celebration of Japanese car and bike culture. No trophies, no egos, just a bunch of enthusiasts coming out for a picnic on the grass with their classic J-tin bike or car.

Vehicle entry will be via Alexandra Ave, South Yarra and once again we will be taking folding note donations at the gate to raise funds for the Fred Hollows Foundation. Gates open at 8am and close at 9am for entries. Spectator parking will be in the streets around the venue.

For more information please contact TCCA via email toyota.car.club.australia@gmail.com or follow our dedicated page on Facebook www.facebook.com/classicjapanshow

Given we have a small gathering, how about we meet at 8am sharp in the car park at Burnley Golf Course in Madden Grove, Burnley. It's just off Swan St or the Monash Freeway using Citilink toll roads. We will leave at 10 past, it's only a few minures from there.

Sorry guys, won't be there. I'm at work doing 'on-call' duty this week-end. I know you will do our marque proud. Maybe I'll see you at the "rock" in February.

Has anyone gone in previous years?
Looking forward to take lots of pix.
Probably park outside the paddock as the colour matching on my fender repair is a bit sus.

There is also the Geelong revival this weekend.
www.geelongrevival.com.au :)

Is there a website for this event?
I usually keep an eye on this website for upcoming car shows.

So GasJA, you hanging in Geelong or coming to Como? Bring it in to CJ, my rough as rally car will be there too! The fact that they drove in is a testament in itself!

Lee, Al, you've got my number so I'll meet you at the designated meeting point/time described. Should be a good day!

The car show link you posted is a top site as far as car displays are concerned. Nice find!

Frank I will pop down to the Geelong Revival today not sure when, as I didn't go last year. There is a display and a street event.
I moved down to Geelong last year and they resumed running that event after 8 years.
Looking to head up to Como as well, mainly to have a Starion type chat and to take lots of pix of the good the bad and the fugly.

As for the Como event from what I quickly read on the Facebook page is they WANT more Triple Diamond participants.

A great day for the event it seems!
Please post a pic of that early lancer and FTO, esp FTO as I had no idea they existed...70's model?
I hope to come down to the 'Rock' next year with my GSR-V. If not, then my widey will have to do :)

Sorry Mal, it was a later model FTO apparently. Yesterday I also found out that a friend of mine owns a GTO that he's had it for years!
