So, why did my car stop running; threw the timing belt :o
Have to wait 'til tomorrow to find out how bad it is; touch wood it is only the timing belt.
You'll hear my screams of anguish if it isn't :cry:

The John Mott sprint meeting also has the Saturday for practice/pasenger rides, so if it is just the timing belt I'll try and get there for some running on Saturday.

owch !! do the valve and pistons make love when than happens
they would on the sigma only 0.060" valve to piston clearance inlet side
chains however dont do that one hopes

if you do get to run sat I'll try and slide down for a look I will however be doing a service to my play thing on sat to be there sunday

No, the valves clear unless head has been changed.

May be able to get away for a look if time/wife permits :)

That's what the fly cuts are in the pistons for.

That`s a relatively easy fix if you can get another tensioner.

If you're in the shit, I've got a spare one you can borrow for the weekend - just PM me Jeff. (I'm assuming you have your entry accepted and you're not on their "waiting" list, I heard last night they're as full up as a pommie complaint box)

No screams of anguish to be heard either, I'd possibly hear them from here if were late enough at night...
