Not many Jap cars as word did not get around.
Few Nissans, Toyotas and 5 Mits. The guy with the orange 71 Galant coupe TC was there - very well presented car.
One white 84 Sigma GSR which was more like a luxury pack in Australia. Japanese models had some performance upgrades.

Then there was a black Mitsubishi GTO 92? and a red 3000GT. The 3000GT was a 3000cc quad cam twin turbo, twin intercooler 220kw 427Nm, and the GTO was higher spec.
4wd split 45/55, viscous coupling diffs front and rear, 4 wheel steering, electronic controlled suspension & 5 speed Gertrag gearbox.
Serious expensive coupes from the early 90's which were in direct competition with the Honda NSX (no-sex). The Mitsubishi were quicker in a straight line, but the NSX had better handling.
They told me that the GTO was AUD$96k in 1992. A quick look on carsales shows that they can be picked up from 8k-22k depending on age, mileage and condition.

Apparently the FTO the 4 cylinder model was more popular in NSW as there was a dealer up there who imported them directly from Japan.
Very few in Victoria apparently, and none at Flemington.

The feature car of the event was the MG and the models from the 30's to the 50's were art forms. Lots of other European cars but fewer Italian cars than I would have expected.
